Geng Bing (耿秉, Cảnh Bỉnh; courtesy name Boyang 伯山; d. 91), native of Maoling in Fufeng, was a legendary military commander and Grand General of the Eastern Han Dynasty. He was the son of founding Cloud Platform general Geng Yan (耿弇).
Mastering cavalry warfare and frontier strategy from his youth, Geng Bing served as General of the Van (征西将军) alongside Dou Xian in the historic campaign of 89 AD that completely crushed the Northern Xiongnu. Leading elite Han and Southern Xiongnu cavalry across the vast Gobi Desert to the Altai Mountains, Geng Bing routed the Northern Chanyu at the Battle of the Altai Mountains, chasing the enemy into Siberia and carving the immortal victory inscription upon Mount Yanran (封燕然山铭), authored by historian Ban Gu. Promoted to General of the Agile Cavalry (骠骑将军), Geng Bing was revered by frontier nomads, who mourned his death with deep grief.
