Biography & Historical Record
Zhuge Jun was a younger brother of the famous strategist Zhuge Liang and the elder statesman Zhuge Jin. Following the death of his father, Zhuge Gui, he moved to Jing Province with his siblings. While Zhuge Liang entered the service of Liu Bei, Zhuge Jun remained in Nanyang for a period. He eventually followed his brother to Shu Han and served as the Colonel of the Archers (Changshui Xiaowei). Historical records provide very little detail regarding his political or military contributions.
Role in Romance of the Three Kingdoms
In the narrative, Zhuge Jun is depicted living with Zhuge Liang in Longzhong. He is briefly encountered by Liu Bei during his repeated visits to recruit Zhuge Liang. Later, he continues to live a reclusive life, often tending to their farm while his brother is away on political duties. He serves as a secondary character who highlights the simple, scholarly life the Zhuge brothers led before their rise to prominence.

Chapter 37
- Zhuge Jun (诸葛均, Gia Cát Quân): Zhuge Jun is Zhuge Liang’s younger brother. Liu Bei visits the Zhuge family’s thatched cottage looking for the strategist known as the Sleeping Dragon. Zhuge Jun explains that his brother is away and cannot meet Liu Bei. He later remains at the family home while Liu Bei repeatedly returns to seek Zhuge Liang.
Chapter 38
- Zhuge Jun (诸葛均, Gia Cát Quân): Zhuge Jun is present when Liu Bei finally meets Zhuge Liang. He remains a member of the Zhuge household but does not take the military role that his elder brother assumes.

- Zhuge Jun (诸葛均, Gia Cát Quân) was the younger brother of Zhuge Jin (诸葛瑾, Gia Cát Cẩn) and Zhuge Liang (诸葛亮, Gia Cát Lượng). He belonged to the Zhuge family of Langya.
Early Life
- After the early death of their parents, Zhuge Jun and Zhuge Liang were raised by their uncle Zhuge Xuan (诸葛玄, Gia Cát Huyền). He accompanied the family to Yuzhang and later Jing Province.
Shu Han Service
- While Zhuge Liang became the leading strategist of Shu Han, Zhuge Jun also entered government service. The historical record states that he eventually attained the position of Colonel of the Changshui.
Historical Status
- Unlike his brothers Zhuge Jin and Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Jun held no major independent command. His historical importance lies primarily in his family relationship and his quiet administrative career within Shu Han.
