Yue Jin (died 218 AD), courtesy name Wenqian, was a distinguished military general serving Cao Cao during the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period. Hailing from Yangwu in Wei Commandery, Yue Jin was known for his short stature but immense courage and physical prowess. He was one of the earliest followers of Cao Cao, joining him shortly after the warlord began his campaign against the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Renowned for his aggressive fighting style, Yue Jin often led the vanguard in major battles, frequently being the first to scale enemy walls or engage in fierce duels, which earned him a reputation as an unstoppable force on the battlefield.
Throughout his service, Yue Jin participated in numerous critical campaigns, including those against Lü Bu, Yuan Shao, and the campaigns in the northwest.
