Triệu Tư (Zhao Zi), tự Đức Độ, là người Cao Cấp, quận Bột Hải. Ông là một danh sĩ, quan lại thời Đông Ngô dưới trướng Tôn Quyền. Triệu Tư nổi tiếng với trí tuệ, tài ngoại giao sắc bén và phong thái ung dung trước các bậc đế vương. Khi được Tôn Quyền cử đi sứ sang nhà Ngụy, Tào Phi đã cố tình làm nhục ông bằng cách hỏi những câu hóc búa về tình hình nội bộ Ngô quốc, nhưng ông đều đối đáp trôi chảy khiến Tào Phi phải thán phục và đánh giá cao tài năng của ông.
