Wen Pin was a prominent military general who served under the warlord Liu Biao in Jing Province. After Liu Biao’s death, he submitted to Cao Cao. Renowned for his integrity and loyalty, he was trusted by Cao Cao to defend the northern frontier of Jing Province against the forces of Liu Bei and Guan Yu for several decades. Chapter 34
- Wen Pin (文聘, Văn Sính): Wen Pin is one of Liu Biao’s trusted generals in Jingzhou. When Liu Bei attends a banquet at Xiangyang, Cai Mao intends to assassinate him. Kuai Yue orders Wen Pin and Wang Wei to hold a separate banquet for the military officers so that Zhao Yun will be drawn away from Liu Bei. Wen Pin therefore participates, although unknowingly, in the scheme against Liu Bei.
