Wu Yan (Ngô Diên) was a military officer serving the state of Eastern Wu during the final years of the Three Kingdoms period. He held the position of Commander of the Central Army (Trung Cấp). During the Jin dynasty’s conquest of Wu in 280, as the Jin forces led by Wang Jun and others advanced toward the capital Jianye, the Wu military command collapsed. Following the surrender and subsequent fall of the capital, Wu Yan was captured and executed by the Jin authorities.
